As a design enthusiast seeking a balance between luxury and value, my recent stay at Stayokay left me with mixed feelings. The low price and serene surroundings initially caught my attention, making it a convenient last-minute sleepover choice. Unfortunately, the basic breakfast lacked variety, and the noisy heating pipes disrupted my peace, as did the thin walls letting in neighboring conversations and the clamor of energetic children.On the upside, the hotel's location on the outskirts offered a peaceful retreat, perfect for nature lovers. The recently refurbished décor was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and helpful, providing a packed breakfast upon my early departure. The Wikkelhause cabin, while comfortable with a nice view, seemed overpriced for a short stay.Stayokay provides a safe and secure environment with essential amenities, although improvements in soundproofing and breakfast offerings could enhance the overall experience. For those seeking affordable accommodations in a tranquil setting, this hostel is a suitable choice, but for those valuing luxury and impeccable peace, further adjustments may be needed to justify the cost.
